Character notes:
A bit of a tomboy, but basically open and sweet. She is the first of the group to commit to following Jesus in the song "Day by Day."
(Alto or Mezzo)

Costume notes:
Bright orange shirt, short striped t-shirt, Pom-Poms -movement -rolled down stockings, Baggy elephant pants "Little Mary Sunshine" hat, dancing slippers, Little girl, Shirley Temple image.

My Thoughts:
"Robin seems to be the most cheerful of the bunch, most outgoing, etc. but what I love most about her character is her voice. Her singing voice is great, but what I really like is her shouting. You know, when Jeffrey accidentally hits her foot? I love how her voice can be all mellow and sweet, and suddenly loud and boomy, like when she's making up a cartoon-like voice in the Parable of the Sheep bit. Her facial expressions are great as well. She always made me laugh as a kid, and she still brings a smile to my face. And I always envied her flower headband as a young girl." Y

Robin Lamont was born on June 2, 1950, in Boston, Massachusetts. She attended Carnegie-Mellon University with several other members of the original cast. She performed in the original productions in Cherry Lane Theatre, and went on to play her role on-screen.
